Dear Parents,

I’m very excited to be your teacher this year. This is my 8th year teaching at BridgePrep Academy of Village Green and my fourth-year teaching 3rd grade. I have taught Kindergarten, 3rd, 4th, and 5th Grade. My certification is K - 6  and I'm ESOL endorsed. I was born and raised in Bogota, Colombia. I am fluent in English and Spanish and hope to learn another language someday. I am married and a mom to an amazing 9-year boy who is attending fourth grade here at Bridgeprep. My brother is a teacher as well and working in China. I studied Photography at Savannah College of Art and Design in Savannah, GA. I moved to Miami and started a career in hospitality for nine years. I really enjoyed it, but I always had a calling for teaching and here I am. I have loved every day that I have been teaching and I look forward to many more.

I love to laugh and make my class fun, interesting and engaging. Can’t wait to see all your children grow and flourish this year!
