Boosterthon Team Day 2
Parents, who’s seen their student’s Student Star Video yet? It’s a really fun way to SHARE our fundraiser on FUNRUN.COM. Just upload a picture of YOUR student and PRESTO! They’ll be cast as the HERO of an incredible news story about helping our school! Share it with friends and extended family online. It’s guaranteed to get some ❤️+ ! Tonight we have a special challenge to help our school raise funds. Whichever class can get the most students who log on to funrun.com tonight will earn a recess kit to use for the rest of the year! Also, I want to remind everyone of our Virtual Dance Fit next week. Can’t wait to have fun and celebrate our students then. Thanks for your support so far! |

BRIDGEPREP FAMILIES! Today, students learned about TEAMWORK from Phinette, a basketball player from Brooklyn, NY. Teamwork is all about using everyone’s strengths to win together! Thank you for your early support of our BridgePrep virtual dance fit fundraiser. Tonight’s fundraising challenge any student who registers will get 5 entries into our sweepstakes giveaway! The winners will be announced at the end of the program! Make sure to register your child on funrun.com. Search for your school or use our school registration code: 347-823. Parent Club FIU Webinars
Florida International University, Center for Children and Families, Parent Club Free Live Weekly Webinar series in English, Spanish, and Haitian-Creole continues this week (8/31/2020 - 9/4/2020). Using one of the evidenced-based Triple P Parenting Program topics: The Power of Positive Parenting as the focus, the live webinar allows participants to ask questions of the Center clinicians presenting the topic. Attached are the flyers in the three languages with the dates and times of the webinars and below, are the areas covered by the webinar topic: · Ensuring a safe, engaging environment · Creating a positive learning environment · Using assertive discipline · Having reasonable expectations · Looking after yourself as a parent All webinar participants are entered for a chance to win an Amazon gift card. |
Middle and High School Bell Schedule
Attention Middle and High School Bulldogs! Please see our new Bell Schedule for the 2020-2021 school year. Beginning on Monday, August 31st, you will visit periods 1-7 each day. Please note that Middle and High school will no longer have early release on Wednesdays. We can't wait to see you all soon! |
Meal Distribution
Beginning on Monday, August 31st we will begin breakfast and lunch meal distribution for our BridgePrep Village Green students. New Bridgeprep Village Green families may also purchase meals. Breakfast Prices: -$1.25 paid breakfast students -0.30 cents reduced breakfast students -Free for free breakfast students Lunch Prices: -$2.75 for paid lunch students -0.40 cents for reduced lunch students -Free for free lunch students We will honor your free and reduced lunch status until October 13th, 2020. To continue your status, a new lunch application must be submitted as soon as possible. Meal Distribution Days Mondays from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM our Village Green students will receive breakfast and lunch for Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. Wednesdays from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM our Village Green students will receive breakfast and lunch for Thursday and Friday |
